Sikafloor Marine Primer C

Sikafloor Marine Primer C is a pigmented, water-based SBR emulsion primer for interior shop-primed steel decks and mortar substrates. It is applied before cementitious Sikafloor Marine deck mortars to improve adhesion, forming a thin bonding layer between substrate and mortar. The white coat turns transparent when dry, showing when the surface is ready for the mortar. Apply with a long-hair roller: about 75 ml/m² on steel and 150–300 ml/m² on mortar; porous substrates are primed in two steps, the first diluted with 20 % water. On aluminium or zinc-rich shop-primed decks, a tie coat of SikaCor ZP Primer is required first. Application temperature 5–40 °C; protect from frost. Interior use only. Supplied in a 10 kg canister.
