Engineered wood delivers authentic timber aesthetics with superior dimensional stability for commercial interiors. Its multi‑layer construction minimizes movement caused by temperature and humidity changes, making it suitable for wider planks, patterned layouts and underfloor heating systems. We supply materials to B2B clients (distributors, contractors, developers, architects, facility owners).
Cross‑layer construction reduces expansion and contraction under temperature and humidity swings.
Factory‑applied UV oils and varnishes ensure durability and fast project handover.
Wide planks, herringbone, chevron, stairs and matching accessories.
Re‑coat/re‑oil and, where wear layer allows, light resanding to extend service life.
Certified timber sourcing and low‑VOC finishes available on request.
Designed for thermal movement; compatible within manufacturer temperature and RH limits.
Pick the format, grade and finish based on sector demands — so your project lands on spec the first time.
Wide planks and controlled tonal ranges for lobbies, lounges and ballrooms. Selective herringbone/chevron layouts support zoning and wayfinding.
Brand‑driven patterns and stains for zoning and storytelling. Matte, low‑gloss finishes control reflections and visual brightness.
Durable engineered constructions with thicker wear layers and UV finishes. Layouts that allow localized re‑coating or replacement in high‑traffic zones.
Quick guide: pick the right system for the use case. Engineered wood wins for premium interiors and UFH; other systems win for moisture, rolling loads or budget.

Answers to common questions about specifying engineered wood for commercial projects. Part of our Wood Flooring range — see also the commercial wood flooring specification guide.
Yes — engineered wood is specifically designed for UFH when temperature and humidity limits are respected. The multi‑layer core handles thermal movement far better than solid wood. Keep surface temperature within the manufacturer limit (typically max 27 °C), commission the UFH gradually, and follow the acclimatisation protocol in the datasheet.
For commercial projects choose a wear layer of 3–6 mm. Thicker allows future re‑coating and at least one light resand, extending service life in high‑traffic areas. Thinner 2–2.5 mm layers suit light‑traffic residential use only.
Yes — depending on wear‑layer thickness. A 3 mm+ wear layer typically allows one or two light resands over the floor’s life, plus periodic re‑oiling/re‑coating between.
Yes — the stability of the multi‑layer core is exactly why engineered is preferred for wide planks, herringbone and chevron, where solid wood would cup and gap. See the wood flooring patterns guide.
Typically Cfl‑s1 under EN 13501‑1; some fire‑retardant‑treated lines reach Bfl‑s1. The required class depends on building type and escape routes — we provide the DoP and fire test report per line.
Durability depends on finish selection, a 3–6 mm wear layer, entrance matting and maintenance regime. UV‑finished surfaces are recommended; specify glue‑down for rolling loads.
Glue‑down is preferred for stability, acoustics and rolling‑load resistance. Floating click speeds refurbishments and occupied‑space fit‑outs but is not designed for continuous rolling point loads.
We focus on materials supply, but we also offer professional flooring installation. Alternatively, use your own appointed contractor.
