Bespoke, made‑to‑order parquet and engineered wood from Italian workshops — custom dimensions, species, finishes and laying patterns for flagship retail, luxury hospitality and marine interiors.
Sprung wood sports systems with under‑structures for shock absorption and ball response. Engineered for indoor sports halls and multi‑use rooms with tuned resilience and slip characteristics.
Authentic grain, textures and long‑life refinishing potential (finish/system‑dependent).
Engineered cores reduce movement vs solid; better for wider planks and UFH.
Factory UV‑oils/varnishes and hardwax systems for commercial use.
Wood warms spaces; combine with underlays to control impact sound.
FSC/PEFC sourcing options; low‑VOC finishes for BREEAM/LEED.
Wide planks, herringbone, chevron and bespoke formats for feature spaces.
Rule of thumb: choose engineered wood for premium interiors, laminate for budget wood‑look, LVT/SPC for mixed‑use and moisture exposure.

Common questions from distributors, contractors, developers and designers specifying commercial wood flooring. For the full detail, see our commercial wood flooring specification guide and wood flooring patterns guide.
Commercial wood flooring is specified for traffic, durability and compliance — not just looks. It uses thicker wear layers (typically 3–6 mm engineered), commercial‑grade UV finishes, a verified fire reaction class and documented sourcing. We supply contract‑grade engineered, solid and bespoke parquet for hospitality, workspace, retail and cultural projects.
Most commercial wood floors achieve Cfl‑s1 or Bfl‑s1 under EN 13501‑1, depending on species, thickness and any fire‑retardant treatment. The class required depends on building type and escape‑route rules in your jurisdiction. We provide the DoP and fire test report for every line so it can be verified against the spec.
Engineered provides better stability (UFH, wider planks, patterned layouts) with commercial finishes — the default for most contract projects. Solid suits traditional refinish‑led and heritage interiors. Both are available with commercial‑grade finishes.
Yes, with the right spec. Choose engineered construction with a 3–6 mm wear layer, a commercial UV‑oil or lacquer finish, entrance matting, and a planned re‑coat cycle. For continuous rolling loads (trolleys, castor chairs) specify glue‑down rather than floating click.
Yes. FSC or PEFC chain‑of‑custody options are available across much of our engineered and solid range. Certified sourcing is increasingly required for BREEAM, LEED and public‑sector tenders — request the chain‑of‑custody documentation with your quotation.
Each line ships with datasheets, DoP/DoC, fire test reports and, on request, EPD and FSC/PEFC certificates. We also provide specification text and quantity take‑offs to support tender and contract documentation.
Yes. We supply distributors, contractors, developers and architects for projects from single fit‑outs to multi‑site rollouts. Stock programmes allow fast delivery; made‑to‑order grades, finishes and patterns are available with confirmed lead times. MOQs may apply for special lengths or bespoke runs.
Wide planks suit lobbies and open lounges; herringbone/chevron create feature zones, support wayfinding and read as premium in hospitality and retail. All three are available in engineered construction for stability — see our wood flooring patterns guide.
Yes. Our Italian partners produce made‑to‑order engineered wood and parquet to project drawings — custom dimensions, species, finishes and laying patterns for flagship retail, hospitality and luxury residential. Marine/IMO‑certified bespoke wood is available too. Explore Custom Wood.
Engineered wood is designed for UFH within manufacturer temperature and RH limits and is the preferred choice. Solid wood is generally not recommended over UFH. Always follow the commissioning and acclimatisation protocol — details on the Engineered Wood page.
Use acoustic underlays matched to the substrate, add rugs/soft finishes in lounges, and respect impact‑sound (L’nT,w) targets in the spec. We advise on underlay build‑ups that meet the required dB reduction for multi‑storey and MFH projects.
Wood suits dry‑use kitchens with robust finishes and matting. For genuine wet areas or wetrooms choose a vinyl wetroom system — wood is not designed for standing water or continuous high humidity.
We focus on materials supply, but we also offer professional flooring installation. Alternatively, use your own appointed contractor.
